The Afghan Mini from Bhagvana is hand forged, compact, and loud!

A take on the classic Afghan style morchang, the Mini packs a punch! It is high pitched with a stiff reed. Great for fast play with open/close glottis techniques. The mini is loud and creates wonderful overtones. This instrument's sound will pierce through the air with ease. There is virtually no sustain, making it an excellent companion to a rhythmic bass morchang.

These morchang are hand forged. They are tuned by ear from the maker, and may vary in sound and appearance.
