Similar in look to the standard size Potkin, the large is….larger. In addition to being larger the reed is stiffer, the volume is louder, and the sound snaps to attention those who might hear it play. Tones are lower into the midrange than the standard Potkin. Easy to play inward, outward, and responds well to fast aggressive playing.

Great for beginner to intermediate players. Wooden case options work well for the harpist on the go. Untuned and sound may vary from rhythmic to melodic in quality. No case included. The Large Potkin typically fall around E2 and can be tuned by our in house harpsmith by adding the “Permanent Tuning Service” to you cart. Tuning service can be found on the Special Purchase Page.
