Hand forged in Rajasthan by Master Rekha, the Twist Morchang has a twisted decorative appeal.

The Twist is has a stiff reed that emits clean overtones with a very decent degree of clarity. When open/close glottis play is applied in the Rajasthani style, the harp springs comes to life. The harp is medium in volume and sensitivity, with no saturation, which can be helpful in melodic style play.

Due to the hand forging, these instruments may vary slightly in appearance and sound. These morchang are closely tuned by the maker. For an instrument tuned up to the closest note, choose “Permanent Tuning Service” in the Shop and our in house harpsmith will tune to the closest note, and engrave the tuning on the back!
