Similar in look to the standard size Potkin, the large is larger in stature and easier to hold. This harp is supplied with a hand carved wooden Wizard case, perfect for harping on the go!

In addition to being larger, the reed is a little more stiff but still very flexible. The volume is louder, and the sound snaps to attention those who might hear it play. Tones are lower into the midrange than the standard Potkin. The Large Potkin are easy to play inward or outward, and respond well to fast aggressive playing. Great for beginner to intermediate players.

These vargan are untuned and the sound may vary from rhythmic to melodic in quality. If you would like your Potkin tuned to the nearest note, please add the “Permanent Tuning Service” to your cart and our in-house harpsmith will tune it for you and engrave the note for easy identification.
